The World War II Memorial came next. Another beautiful site tucked in as if it has been there forever.
As we explored the World War II Memorial the 6th graders were challenged to find Kilroy within 10 minutes. When we found him he had multiplied. Luckily he showed up where we were to meet to walk down to the Lincoln Memorial.
